DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 IMO DELAVAL FUEL INJECTION PUMP SDAR: CP-89-002 (INTERIM REPORT) i Gentlemen:
On January 25,1989,'TU Electric verbally notified the NRC of a potential deficiency involving the IMO Delaval Diesel Generator fuel injection pump.
Our last report on this subject is logged TXX-89092 dated February 24, 1989.
This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Further evaluation is required to establish the safety significance of the potentially reportable deficiency. The final report (s) will be submitted prior to fuel load for the respective units.
