DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 SEISMIC ANALYSIS OF SERVICE WATER INTAKE STRUCTURE SDAR: CP-87-115 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)

Gentlemen:

On February 4,1988. TV Electric letter logged TXX-88055 provided notification to the NRC of a reportable deficiency involving a modeling error for seismic analysis of the service water intake structure. A similar problem was noted for seismic Category I concrete tanks. The last report on this issue logged

-TXX-88815, was submitted on November 30, 1988. The purpose of this supplemental report is to revise the corrective action implementation schedule.

TU Electric now anticipates completion of Unit 1 engineering and construction activities related to this issue prior to Unit I fuel load. The Unit 2 corrective action implementation schedule has not changed.
