Dear Sirs:

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera installation at the Intake Structure By letter dated January 27, 1989, in response to a Notice of Violation (NOV) concerning Security violations, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) committed to install additional CCTV cameras at the Trojan Intake Structure. At the time of this response, the work was scheduled to be completed by July 31, 1989.

In order to perform this work, it is necessary to transfer the functions of the Trojan Central Alarm Statiun (CAS) and Secondary Alarm Station (SAS) to alternate locations. Due to a Fuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) concern regarding how this would be accomplished (subsequent to the NOV response),

it was decided that the modifications would be completed following restart from the 1989 refueling outage.

The purpose of this it ? ter is to notify you that due to the extension of the 1989 refueling outage, the CCTV camera installation at the Intake Structure will not be complete by July 31, 1989.

Based on the current restart schedule, it is expected that this work will be complete by September 29, 1069.
