We have reviewed the summary of the NUMARC Nuclear Working Group's current and planned activities to address deficiencies in procurement and dedication programs which you provided in your letter to me of June 26, 1989. While we would prefer earlier implementation of these actions, it is recognized that these efforts require preparation of industry guidelines, coordination with the industry, and endorsement by the NUMARC Board of Directors. Please forward copies of the final work products to me so that we can take these into account

.in our subsequent regulatory actions. We would be pleased to meet with you to comment on draft work products if this would be useful.
