SUBJECT:

CLOSE-0VT MPA B-98, " STEAM BINDING OF AUXILIARY FEEDWATER PUMPS" According to my records, all the required actions on MPA B-98 have been completed.

In order to close-out the MPA, the data in SIMS must be corrected.

Enclosed is a recent SIMS printout that I have corrected. Please notify me within two weeks if any of my changes are incorrect. Otherwise, this data will be entered in.SIMS.

The entries in SIMS, as explained in my April 14, 1989 memorandum, should be as follows:

"LIC ACT COMP DATE" is the date of your letter to the licensee.

" LICENSEE IMPL DATE" is the date of the licensee's letter to us unless the licensee or Region has provided the specific implementation date.

" VERIFY COMPLET" is not being required.

(However, the entries already mada by the Regions will remain in SIMS).
