The Russell Library is officiallv desienated as the priniepal publit j

library of the City of Middletown in accordance with t he C onnect icut l

General Statutes.

The Russell Library has been servicine the oublic i aoart ially for 114 years.

Middletown is approximateJv 40 miles from 1

tho M i l l s t or.e facility.

1 Thr Russell Librarv was renovated and expanded to 15,000 sq. ft. in 1984 and has sufficient shelf space, patron workspace and ecpyinc equipment to house and provide access to the Millstone collection as described in l

the Federal Register.

i The Russell Library Information Department staff is willing and able to maintain the LPDR collection and assist the public in locating records.

The Russell Library has an active up to date publie reference collection of approximately 7,000 volumes including the U.S.

Code and the Connecticut General Statutes.

The library is a partial depositorv library for Connecticut State Documents and has been the LPDR for the Connecticut Yankee Nuclear Power Station at Haddam Neck for 7 years.
