31310018D0001 P00007 The purpose of this modification is to incorporate clause FAR 52.204-25 PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTING FOR CERTAIN TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SERVICES OR EQUIPMENT (AUG 2020) into the contract. This clause includes contracting prohibitions imposed by section 889(a)(1)(B) of the FY 2019 National Defense Authorization Act. This act prohibits federal departments and agencies from contracting with any entity that uses covered telecommunications equipment or services from Huawei, ZTE Corporation, Hytera Communications, Hangzhou Hikvision, Dahua Technology, and their subsidiaries. By law, this prohibition takes effect on August 13, 2020. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
SECTION I - Contract Clauses is updated to incorporate the following clause by reference:
52.204-25 PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTING FOR CERTAIN TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SERVICES OR EQUIPMENT (AUG 2020)
All other terms and conditions of the contract remain the same.
