A description of the provisions to prevent liquid spills from flowing into the below grade pit. Consideration should be given to spills of caustic and acidic liquids which could deteriorate the 55-gallon drums or L
potentially result in a fire or explosion.

Covering the storage pit with steel plates could create a " confined space."
.If so, what monitoring will be performed to ensure detection of atmospheres within the pit that are either explosive or "immediately dangerous to life?"

A description of the below grade pit including dimensions and construction of walls, floor, and joints.
