Appleton, WI 54911-4897
Dear Ms. Bauman:
This is in response to your letter dated July 17, 1989, ir. wtiich you appealed Mr. Donnie H. Grimsley's response dated June 9,1989. Mr. Grimsley's response denied portions of the records identified on Appendices F aM G subject to your Freedom of Information Act (F01A) request for copies of records related to Region IV.
This response will address the records identified on the teclosed copy of Appendix F, numbers I through 8, in which portions were withheld under FOIA Exemption 6.
Mr. Malsch's letter dated August 9,1989, responded regarding the records identified on Appendix G, numbers 1 through 5.
The Secretary of the Commission will respond under separate cover regarding t.he records identified on Appendix F, numbers 9 through 11.
Acting on your appeal, I have carefully reviewed the recore in this case and have determined that the previously withheld information will continue to be withheld from public disclosure. Therefore, your appeal is denied. The withheld portions of the records consist of names, addresses and other information the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarran+ed invasion of personal privacy. This information will contine to be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to Exemption (6) of the FCIA (5 U.S.C. 552(b)(6))
and 10 CFR 9.17(a)(6) of the Commission's regulations.
I ac unable to identify any legitimate public interest in the release of this inferr.ation which outweighs the privacy interests of the individuals.
This is a final agency decision on the eight records. As set forth in the F01A (5 U.S.C. 552(a)(4)(B)), judicial review of this decision is available in a district court of the United States in the district in urich you reside or have your principal place of business or in the District of Columbia.
Sincerely, 11th 1 Hu
