Dea'r.Dr. Patrick:
The purpo'sd of this modification is to extend the' period of perfo'rmance through September 30, 1998, at no additional cost or obligation to the Goveminent, to allow the contractor additional time to complete the review of Energy Fuels Nuclear, Inc., White Mesa Mill, Blanding, UT reclamation plan. The additional time is required to respond to the licensee's detailed technica!
licensee review. This.may require subseque'nt rounds of requesting additionalinformation from the licensee, in addition to preparing the draft and fina! Technical Evaluation floport.
Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
The first sentence, second paragraph of the definitization letter is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
' Task Order No/ 17'shall be in effect from June 16,1997 through September 30,1998 -
with a cost ceilirig of 567,922."
