DRAWINGS

1. The drawings should be revised to provide the following information:

a.-) .Specify the dimensions, thickness, and materials of construction of the packaging components related to safety.

b.) Safety related weld joints should be specified by appropriate weld symbol. The standards that will be used for welding operations should also be specified.

c.) tiarking and identification requirements of 10 CFR 71.85(c).

2. The application should discuss how the tamperproof. feature required by 10 CFR~71.43(b) dissatisfied.

OPERATING PROCEDtlRES The operating procedures should be revised to address the requirements of 10 CFR 71.87 for inspecting the package for damage prior to shipment.

ACCEPTANCE TEST Specify the method which will be used to verify the shielding integrity of newly fabricated packagings.

MAINTEfJANCE PROGRAMS The application (pg. 35) only ' recommends' and inspection and maintenance interval not to exceed three months. The application should be revised to specify a schedule for conducting maintenance.
