RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN CHANGES
Dear Mr. Gambhir:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your [[letter::LIC-97-0195, Forwards Proprietary Revs to FCS EPIPs & Rerp,Including Revised EPIP Index,Issued 971201,rev 33 to EPIP-OSC-2,rev 18 to EPIP-OSC-15,revised RERP Index Issued 971203 & Rev 8 to RERP Section K.Proprietary Info Withheld|letter dated December 19,1997]], which transmitted Revision 8 to the Fort Calhoun Station Radiological Emergency Response Plan, Section K, submitted under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Based on your determinations that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan, and that the plan, as changed, continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required.
Our initial review of these changes indicates that the changes are in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan and continue to meet regulatory requirements.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
