Submittal of Vermont Yankee's Updated Procedure Generation Package (PGP)
In response to the NRC Inspection Report No.88-200 [ Reference b)), Vermont Yankee committed to submit an updated PGP, including justifications for deviations from the NRC accepted Emergency Procedure Guidelines (EPG), Revision 3.
Accordingly, the atttched document (VY PGP) contains as appendices, in part, VY Plant Specific Technical Guidelines (PSTG's), and the Justification for Deletion, Deviation or Addition (JDDA) Document required to implement the BWROG Emergency Procedure Guideline, Revision 3.
The changes to the various E0P documents were initiated prior to the performance of the NRC inspection; however, the additional concerns identified
(
in Reference b) have been addressed in the attached document.
The VY Emergency Operating Procedures are being revised to incorporate the program enhancements made in the attached document. The expected completion date of the E0P revisior, is April 30, 1989. The procedures will be issued following necesst.ry operator training which is anticipated to be completed in July 1989.
