' Termination Notics In' follow-up to our conversation on October 17, 1984, this letter is to inform you that your employment with Impe11 Corporation is terutnated as of l

today. October 31, itM. You will be given two weeks severence pay and your benefits will remain in offact through the end of November. The reason for your terutnation is lack of performance. Based on feedback from Midwst Region Clients on your performance and an unwillingness by these clients to use your services in the future, Impe11 has no choice but to

' terminate your employment.

The above problem was discussed with you on April 2Cth, May 25th, and again on July 14-15, 19M.

In July you were specifically requested to come into the office and discuss negative feedback we had received from Ceco. At that time we impressed upon you the importance'of doing a good job at TUSCo so that a similar situation did not occur.

In August, Vincent Everett met with TUGCo to assess the performance of all the IGNt Impell staf f on-site.

The feedback we received was favorable for everyone but yourself. Vince counseled you again at-that time. At the end of the effort in September, TUGCo indicated a reluctance to use you on future projects. On September 25th we met with you and informed you of the difficulty we were having placing you on projects in the Midwest Region. We encouraged you to start looking for opportunities.outside our region and with other companies. All collaterei duties were suspended so that you could devote your full attention to this effort.- 'Impe11 management also made inquiries to other regions for possible opportunities for you.

As you are aware, these attempts have been unsuccessful. On October 17th we met with you again 'a assess the current situation and discuss our mutual progress in finding work for you. You were told at that time that we could not go on like this indefinitely. We set an October 31,19M target date for cettirg this problem resolved.

Impell believes that the five and one half weeks we spent looking for work in conjunction wig you has been f air and reasonable. During this period you were allowed to leave 8900300310 090425 If DR ADOCK 0000 3 3
