This letter confirms our plans to conduct an NRC management meeting for Duane Arnold Energy Center at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 19,1998, at the Region lli office, Lisle, Illinois. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the human performance errors that occurred during the refueling outage which resulted in several engineered safety feature actuations and violations of procedures and requirements. The meeting will be open to public observation.
