'B' train narrow range north containment sump level instrument failed its channel check.
The I
narrow range instrument is reading approximately io" higher than l
v the wide range.
An alternate inozcation is available at the radwaste control panel, C-151, and io being used per plant j
procedures (PDT 24-5).
The cause of the fa11ura is suspected to i i
be air in-leakage into the sealed refereni:e line of the I
't'ransmi t te r,
based on past experiences with these type of
?,'
transmitters.
Replacement is not planned at this time as a
i containment entry is required to replace the transmitter, which 1
is located in a highly contaminated sump area, Replacement is i
planned during the 1989 refueling
- outage, si:heduled to begin April 6, 1999.
