A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.

Please firri enclosed our application in triplicate for license to export slightly enriched UF6. h is material will be used for the fabrication of fuel assemblies and ultimately loaded into Mihama Plant No.3 (Region 16) owned by the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc.
Se country of origin of the uranium is Australia.
he relevant enriched UF6 will be delivered at the U.S. D.O.E. Portsmouth Enrichement Plant in Piketon, Ohio. After being exported to Japan, it will be converted to UO2 powder, pelletized and fabricated into fuel assemblies by Mitsubishi Nuclear Co., Ltd. or lhiclear Fuel Industries, Ltd.
As to the validity of the export license, we wish to have a two year period frce the date of issuance.
With regard to sampling, we request that two (2) P-10 tube samples be taken from each parent cylinder. These sanples should be delivered to us c/o Teledyne Iset e for independent analysis. We also request that the Nucle.ar Audit and Testirrg Cdmpany witness the weighing and sanpling.
