Docket Nos. 70-7001 and 70-7002 Revised Schedule for Submission of Quarterly Compliance Plan Reports

Dear Dr. Paperiello:

This letter confums USEC and NRC's agreement at the NRC Senior Management Meeting on April 12, 1998, that the due date of the next Quarterly Report on the status of the PGDP and PORTS Compliance Plans has been extended from June 15,1998, to July 31,1998. As indicated in the last quarterly report (see USEC letter GDP 98-0045, dated March 16,1998), there are no Compliance Plan

. issues scheduled to be completed during the March 1,1998, to May 31,1998, reporting period. The next status report will reflect those Compliance Plan issues and actions that have been completed as ofJuly 15,1998.

Following USEC's submission of the next status report, there will not be a significant number of Compliance Plan issues / actions coming due until January 1,1999. Therefore, USEC proposes that the next status report, following the July 31,- 1998, report, be submitted to NRC by January 15,1999.
