'l On August 17, 1989, the NRC staff met with NUMARC and the Owners Group Chairpersons on matters concerning the Technical Specification Improvement Program in Rockville, Maryland.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the staff's markup of Chapters 1.0 (Definitions) and 3.0 (Applicability) of the proposed new Standard Technical Specifications (STS )'.
During the meeting, a number of outstanding issues were identified for action by either the Owners Groups, the NRC staff, or both.
A lict of these action items is enclosed.
The NRC staff and the Owners Groups agreed to meet on September 7 and 8, 1989, to discuss and resolve these issues.
