OFFICE CONCURRENCE ON AMENDMENT TO 10 CFR 73.21, ACCESS TO SAFEGUARDSINFORMATION(NMSSiP89-60}
We have reviewed the subject rulemaking and concur subject to the following revisions.
Items 1 and 4 are based on consultation with the Office of the General Counsel.
1.
p.2, FRN. Add the following sentence to the end of the first paragraph:
" Individuals who are exempted from fingerprinting under 10 CFR 73.57 will continue to be exempt under this rulemaking."
2.
p.5, FRN.
In the first line. add a period to "Section 73.57".
3.
p.5, FRN. On line nine of the first full paragraph, check to see if there should be parentheses around the "o" in "sec. 161o".
4.
p.6, FRN.
Revise line two to end:
...to the extent required by 10 CFR 73.57;".
5.
Daily Staff Notes item. Change date from 1988 to 1989.
