CRGR MEETING NO. 163 The Committee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet in the afternoon on Wednesday, May 24, 1989 in Room 6507 from 1-5 p.m.
The agenda is a follows:
1:00-2:00 p.m.
G. Zech (AE00) will present for CRGR review a proposed generic letter requesting voluntary participation in the NRC's Emergency Response Data System.
(The review package is enclosed.)
2:00-3:00 p.m.
W. Houston (RES) will brief the CRGR on the staff proposed resolution of USI A-17, " Systems Interactions in Nuclear Power Plants."
(A review package is enclosed.)
3:00-4:00 p.m.
W. Houston (RES) will present for CRGR review the proposed resolution for GI-128 which is a combination of three electrical power systems issues:
(1) GI-48, "LCOs for Class 1E Vital Instrument Buses" (2) GI-49, " Interlocks and LCOs for Class IE Tie Breakers" (3) GI-A-30, " Adequacy of Safety-Related DC Power Supplies" (A review package is enclosed.)
4:00-5:00 p.m.
W. Houston (RES) will present for CRGR review the proposed resolution of USI A-47, " Safety Implications of Control Systems in LWR Nuclear Power Plants."

In accordance with the ED0's March 29, 1984 memorandum to the Commission con-cerning " Forwarding of CRGR Documents to the Public Document Room (PDR)," the review packages for items scheduled at this meeting, which contain predecisional information, will not be released to the POR until the NRC has considered (in a public forum) or decided the matter addressed by the information.
