SUBJECT:

BEAVER VALLEY UNITS 1 and 2 Completion of Response to Bulletin 88-03 By letter dated June 30,1988,the licensee responded to NRC Bulletin 88-03, " Inadequate Latch Engagement in HFA Type Latching Relays Manufactured By General Electric Company". In its response, the licenst stated that no HFA relays were identified as being installed or planned for installation in.cafety-related systems.

The licensee's statement fulfills the inmwation need for Beaver Valley Units 1 and 2 regarding Bulletin 88-03. By copy of this memorandum, all interested parties are infomed of the licensee's position.

This completes our action.
