-CLEANUP STATUS, GSA OWNED PROPERTY, WATERTOWN, MASSACHUSETTS (INSPECTION N0. 99990001/88-102, NOVEMBER 17,1988)
On' November.17, 1988, Mr C. T. Oberg of this office conducted an inspection of the radioactive cleanup operations on the General Services Administration (GSA) property located in Watertown, Massachusetts. Mr Oberg was accompanied by Mr.- Stephen Marshall, GSA Building Manager, and Mr. Leo J. Bertoncini, GSA Building Supervisor from the Region I GSA Offices in Boston, Massachusetts.
No violations of NRC requirements were identified during this inspection.
Based on the discussions held with GSA personnel during the inspection, we understand that the~ contractor performing the cleanup operations will resume-the work during the Spring of 1989. Please advise this office when this work resumes. If our understanding of this matter in not correct, please advise us Lin writing as soon as possible.
We will' review the status of the cleanup operations at the GSA owned property in Watertown, Massachusetts, during a future inspection.
