- Enclosed for filing with the Commission, in accordance with Section 50.71(e) of the Commission's Regulations, is the seventh annual revision of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3. 'Also included in this submittal is revision two of,the Peach Bottom Fire Protection Program (FPP).
This filing consists of an original and ten copies of'the certification required by Section 50.71(e)(2) and eleven copies of the replacement pages to be inserted in the UFSAR and in the Fire Protection Program, including instructions for making the revision and a listing of the replacement pages. The attachment to this letter identifies changes made under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 but not previously submitted to the Commission.

CERTIFICATION
- n. R. Helwig, being first duly sworn, deposes and states as follows:
- 1. He is Vice President of Philadelphia Electric Company, Licensee under Facility Operating Licenses DPR-4i and DPR-56 for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2 and 3, and is authorized to make this Certification on behalf of the Licensee.
2.
The seventh revision to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report, which is filed herewith,.further updates the original Updated Final Safety Analysis Report submitted for Peach Bottom Units ? and 3 on July 20, 1982, as necessary to reflect information and analyses submitted to the Commission or prepared rursvant to Commission requirement since the submittal of the most recent revision to the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report on July 22, 1988. Changes made under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.59 covered by th? seventh revision but not previously submitted to the Commission have been identified.
3.
Changes made to the Quality Assurance Program description set forth in the seventh revision of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report do not reduce the commitments in the Program description previously accepted by the Commission.
4.
This revision brings the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report up-to-date as of at least January 22, 1989.

The statements and matters set forth herein are true and correct to the best of his knowledge, information and belief.
