Dear Mr. Kingsley:
This letter confirms the discussion between members of our staffs to have a management I
meeting on Wednesday, May 13,1998. The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Region 111 offices and will be open to the public.
The purpose of the meeting is to continue discussion on plans to start up Quad Cities Units 1 and 2 and the actions you have taken to address issues that have been identified over the last several months, and which were diset.ssed at public meetings held on March 27, April 10, and April 22,1998. Pending successful completion of Commonwealth Edison's actions in support of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix R, Fire Protection, and other startup issues, this meeting is expected to be the final restart meeting and serve as the closure meeting for Confirmatory Action Letter (CAL) Rill-98-001.
