Re: Renewal of Quality Assurance Program Approval for Radioactive Material Packages No. 0518.
Thank you for your notification letter of April 17, 1989 concerning renewal of our Quality Assurance Program Approval. Unfortunately, this communication
'did not reach us until today because mail addressed to our field location in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska is only sent on to us at the above Canadian address twice monthly.
When we submitted our License renewal application to Division V in Walnut

Creek, California in late March, we did not realize that the Quality' Assurance l
Program required special attention also. Please be advised at this time that I
we wish to renew our Quality Assurance Program as timely as is possible.
We do not have 10 CFR Part 150.20 at hand; but, at the moment, we assume that all that is necessary is for us to notify you that we wish to renew the program presently on file in your office and ;to submit the required fee with j
the renewal request. Our check in the amount of one.:hundred fifty dollars
($150.00) is included.
l Should there be further correspondence on this matter before approval of the renewal is granted, we request that you address correspondence to us at the above Canadian address because communication through?our Prudhoe Bay field
