NOTICE OF NONCONFORMANCE AND UNRESOLVED ITEM NRC INSPECTION REPORT 99900404/97-02
Dear Mr. Liparulo:
Thank you for your letter dated May 1,1998, in response to our letter dated April 28,1998, which requested additionalinformation necessary to disposition the remaining issues documented in NRC inspection report 99900404/97-02, dated January 28,1998.
We have reviewed your reply and find it responsive to the concerns raised in the enclosure to our April 28,1998 letter. We may review the implementation of your corrective actions, including the Design Assurance Review process and results, as well as the AP600 design configuration control process, during a future inspection to establish your compliance with the provisions of Appendix B to 10 CFR Part 50 and 10 CFR Part 52, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
