Board in this matter, notifying parties of his intent to schedule a telephonic prehearing conference within the next three weeks to adopt a comprehensive'schdule. That conference is currently set for Friday, June 30. Dr. Ferguson is unavailable on June 30. In light of this withdrawal, the scope of the conference call, the request from Judge Bloch this week that parties discuss settlement opportunities during the conference, and the substantial new technical materials that have been issued since the Ninth Circuit decision in this case (Sierra Club v. NRC, 862 F.2d 222 (9th Cir.

1988)), the Sierra Club requests that the telephon a conference be delayed for at least thirty days.
