RES REQUESTS TO REVIEW THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO 10 CFR 50.55A
Reference:
Memorandum from Bosnak to Gillespie, et al, dated June 28, 1989, " DIVISION REVIEW 0F PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO 10 CFR 50.55A, CODES AND..INDARDS RULE, THAT WOULD INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE THE 1986 ADDENDA, 1987 ADDENDA, 1988 ADDENDA, AND 1989 EDITION OF SECTION III, DIVISION 1, AND SECTION XI, DIVISION 1 0F THE ASME BOILER AND PRESSURE VESSEL. CODE".
The referenced memorandum requested that NRR review and submit comments on the proposed amendment to 10 CFR 50.55a.
The RES request is now yellow ticket 0899155. A response to this yellow ticket is due in the director's office by July 31, 1989.
In order for rqy staff to prepare a coordinated NRR response to the RES requests, I ask that y(ou review the enclosed amendment and give your written comments to Bob Colmar X23076, MS 12-E-4) by July 27, 1989.
If you cannot submit your comments by that date, please contact Bob as soon as possible.
