Gentlemen:
On August 30, 1988, TV Electric verbally notified the NRC of a reportable deficiency under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e) involving the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) static exciter voltage regulation circuitry.
The last report on this issue was logged TXX-89012, dated January 13, 1989.
The evaluation of this issue is continuing. A final report will be submitted prior to Unit 1 fuel load.
