Braidwood Fiation Units 1 and 2 NRC Inspection 50-456/89018 and 50-457/89018 liEC Docket Nos. 50-456 and 50-07 Dear Mr. Coopers In response to NRC Concerns No. 7 and 8 raised at the NRC EQ inspection at Braidwood Station during the week of June 12, 1989, additior.a1 information was provided to the NRC staff on June ?2, June 27, and June 30, 1989.
On July 6, 1989, a meeting was held in the hRC Region III offices to discuss this information. During that meeting additional inforrr.ation was requested regarding Concern No.
8.
That information was delivered to the Region III offices on July 12, 1989.
On July 13, 1989, teleconferences were held with the NRC staff and Commonwealth Edison to discuss Concerns No. 7 and 8.
Additional information was requested regarding Concern No. 7 and the testing of Chonite splices.
That information is provided with this letter as Supplement 1 to the response to t

For the convenience of the NRC staff, additional copies of the previous responses to Concerns No. 7 and 8 are enclosed with this letter as well.
