Thank you for your letter dated May 17, 1989 and Mr. Jack McGurk's letter dated May 30, 1989, in response to our 1989 routine review of your Radiation Control Program for agreement materials. We have evaluated your response and believe your proposed changes, when implemented, will enable the program to continue to satisfy the " Guidelines for NRC Review of Agreement State Radiation Control Programs."
We are pleased with the positive actions you have proposed thus far with regard to our comments, especially in the area of staffing. Your efforts with the Radiation Control Program and the Environmental Health Division are appreciated by the NRC staff.
