'P-89166 May 8, 1989-i Regarding. open item.
267/8806-01, PSC has completed actual differential pressure testing of valves HV-2237 and HV-2238 under maximumJachievable differential pressure-conditions (given plant corifiguration) to determine operability at
' maximum expected differential pressure.
The performance of.this testing is documented
~
in the attached revision to the motor. operated valve data sheet.
This' sheet was originally included as Attachment 3 to Reference 1 and has been updated to reflect this testing. These test results serve to addrcss the commitment made by PSC in Reference 5 to document the performance of tests on HV-2237 and HV-2238.
See Attachment.1.
1 PSC responded to Reference 4 in Reference S.
This letter completes the response concerning the additional information requested by. the NRC. in. Paragraph 3.(c)..of Reference 4 (the provision of which was committed to by PSC on page 4 of 4 of the attachment to Reference 5).
PSC has' completed = actual differential pressure' testing of valves with.
Limitorque SMB-4T operators to determine valve operability at maximum expected differential pressure. The extrapolation methodology used
-was cited in' Reference 1.
See Attachment 1.
