RESPONSE TO OPEN ITEM IN INSPECTION REPORT 88024 NRC Inspection Report 50-255/88-024 dated January 6, 1989 transmitted an open item that we committed to address by March 8, 1989 in our February 6, 1989 submittal. A telephone conversation with Mr J R Kniceley, of the NRC Region III office, resulted in approval of our request to extend this due date until the end of March.
The attached enclosure contains Consumers Power Company's response to the referenced open items which is the result of a reactive safeguards inspection.
This enclosure is considered Safeguards Information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR73.21(c).
