Gentlemen:
On April'.6,1989,:TV Electric verbally notified your Mr. S. P. Burris of a'
' deficiency involving the modification of a CVCS charging system pipe whip restraint. This is an interim report submitted on a potentially reportable condition under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e).
Further evaluation is required to establish the safety significance'of this 4
potentially reportable deficiency.
TV Electric will submit the final' report on this issue prior to fuel load for Unit 1.
