Gentlemen:
Toledo Edison submitted a license amendment request (Serial Number 1661, dated August 21, 1989) which proposed changes to the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit Number 1 Operating License, Appendix A, Technical Specifications. The request proposes changes to Section 3/4.3.3.6, Post-Accident Instrumentation, Table 3.3-10, Post-Accident Monitori::g Instrumentation, Table 4.3-10, Post-Accident Monitoring Instrumentation Surveillance Requirements; Section 3/4.6.4.1, Combustible Gas'Contrcl -
Hydrogen Analyzers, Bases Section 3/4.3.3.6, Post-Accident Instrumentation; 4
and Bases Section 3/4.6.4, Combustible Gas Control. The request-vould remove all line items using the term " status".in iables 3.3-10 and 4.3-10 and remove the line item on containment vessel hydrogen from the Tables 3.3-10 and
.4.3-10.
In addition, several administrative changes vere proposed for clarification purposes.
The Technical Specification pages for Bases Section 3/4.3.3.6 (Post-Accident Instrumentation) and Bases Section 3/4.6.4 (Combustible Gas Control) which vere submitted in Serial Number 1661 are incorrect. The correct Bases pages (B 3/4 3-3 and B 3/4 6-4) are attached and supersede the same numbaed pages provided by Serial Number 1661.
