ORDER TO CEASE AND DESIST USE OF REGULATED MATERIAL, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY This is to inform the Commission that an Order to Cease and Desist Use of Regulated Material, Effective Immediately-will be issued on or about March 17, 1989 to Michael Dimun, M.D., Carnegie, Pennsylvania. This action is based on that fact that Dr. Dimun's license ex,ited without a request for timely renewal n
on February 28, 1987 and yet he continues to possess a radioactive source containing strontium-90.
Under the terms of the Order, Dr. Dimun shall within 10 days of the effective date of the Order, confirm under oath or affirmation that all licensable radioactive materials have been transferred to an authorized recipient and that no such material remains in Dr. Dimun's possession.
