This Special Report 'is being submitted pursuant to the requirements of j
Technical' Specification 3.3.3.7, Fire Detection Instrumentation.
s On June 11, 1989, smoke detectors in the Reactor Building (zone PPP) spurious
. alarmed and cannot be reset from outside the building. Entry into the Reactor j
Building is restricted at this' time due to the unit being at 100% power.
Compensatory action has been taken as required by the Action' Statement of Technical Specification and a work request initiated for repair during the i
next outage of sufficient duration.
