Control Rod Movement Security Issues
Dear Sirs:
This letter conveys Public Service Company of Colorado's understanding of agreements made between representatives of Region IV and Public Service Company of Colorado by telephone on August 25, 1989.
In addition it conveys a description of actions taken by the Security Unit at Fort St. Vrain pursuant to those agreements to maintain a security posture consistent with regulations and the Fort St. Vrain Physical Security Plan during maintenance activities on t,he evening of August 25, 1989.
This understanding and description of actions is enclosed as to this letter. The material in Enclosure I contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CFR 73-21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, this material, with the exception of this letter, should not be placed in the Public Documents Room.
