ENHANCEMENT PROJECT SCHEDULE TVA committed in a letter'to NRC dated February 27, 1988, to a goal of having specified numbers of mis written or revised by specified annual dates to fulfill the key e_lements of the MI enhancement project.
This. goal also included providing annual update listings to NRC of the instructions written or revised and those expected to be written or revised.
The first project milestone date was June 1, 1989.
~As of May 15, 1989, the. status of MI enhancement project progress was as follows:

However, significant progress was made by the SQN procedures staff as evidenced by tL number of procedures approved and the num'cer of craf ts that have been preparea tad. issued for review.
Currently, the SQN procedures staff contract aployees are being pnased out and replaced with TVA direct employees, and work is proceeding.
However, a firm completion date for the first milestone commitments cannot be forecast until the transition is comolete.
TVA will provide a supplemental submittal containing this schedule information by October 1, 1989. This commitment is alco stated in the enclosure.
