Dear Mr. MacDonald:

In order to provide'the additienal information requested for the renewal of USNRC Certificate of Compliance number 9033 issued for the Model 660 Type B package, we request a six month extension on the expiration date until 31 December 1989.

This will give us the necessary time to provide che consolidated application you requested.

We are having great difficulties with both. domestic and foreign customers in accepting the letter of " timely renewal" we distributed.

Mest of our foreign countrics rely on the U3NRC Certificate cf Compliance for transportation within their own country.

Sicce this certificate is expired they are not allowing transportation within their country or on some airlims.

We appreciate your quick response to this extension request, please let me know if I can provide additional information.
