Enclosed is an application from General Atomics for a license to export 50.76 grams of low enriched uranium (19.9%) to France for irradiation tests at the Silor Research Reactor. A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurance letter will be appreciated.
The companion' export license application (XMAT03(0) for 4 kilograms of nuclear grade graphite is being forwarded to the Executive Branch for review; a copy is attached for your information.
