Attached are three (3) signed original letters and three (3) copies of the Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) Second Supplemental Summary Report which describes the methodology,
- findings, assessment, results and conclusion of the Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No.
1 (BVPS-1)
DCRDR.
The review was a
continuation of detailed control room design review documented in the Supplemental Summary Report submitted to the NRC on January 5, 1988 and the Summary Report submitted 'to the NRC on November 30, 1985.
The review was conducted to ensure that the control room and the emergency and alternate shutdown panels would support operation during emergency conditions and to satisfy the guidance of Item I.D.1 of Supplement 1 to NUREG 0737 published by Generic Letter No. 82-33.
The review was also conducted using the guidance of NUREGs 0700 and 0801.
The attached Second Supplemental Summary Report includes the Human Engineering Discrepancies - HEDs (Appendix A).
