Mr. Chairman, the Sunshine 13 Act requires a vote to hold on less than one week's 14 notice these two items.

15 One of them is the affirmation of SECY 89-16 57, entitled " Reconsideration of Decommissioning 17 Funding Order, CLI 8810."

18 And the second item is SECY 89-72, the 19 Commission ruling on the Intervenor's motion for a 30 directed certification of scheduling issue.

21 I wonder if I might have a' vote to hold on 22 less then one week's notice.

The Commission here was asked to act on motions i

3 to reconsider its December 21st, 1988, decision which i

}

4 established the decommissioning fund requirements for 5

the Seabrook station.

All Commissioners have approved 6

an order which was attached.to our March 2nd i

7 memorandum which denies a motion to reconsider.

8 Would you please affirm your votes?

The second item is 89-72, 11 the Commission ruling on the Intervenor's motion for a 1

12 directed certification of a scheduling issue.

Here 1

13 the Commission in being asked to approve a response to I

14 the Intervenor's motion for directed certification of I

15 issues raised by a scheduling order of the licensing i

16 board citing to the hearing of off-site emergency l

17 planni.

18 Chairman Zech, Commissioners Rogers, Carr, 19 and Roberts, have approved the order denying the 20 motion.

Colamis sioner Curtiss did not participate in 21 this matter.
