Dear Mr. Gordon:
Enclosed are five (5) copies of Revision 1 to the synopsis of the PacTec, Inc.10 CFR 71, Subpart H Ouality Assurance system originally forwarded to NRC by Reference 1. The revisions reflect responses to the information requested in Reference 2. This Revision 1 modifies the prior application at four locations. To modify, remove and replace:

s As recognized by the nature of your requested information, PacTec, Inc. is a small enterprise comprised of a limited number of individuals with extensive experience in the nuclear industry. As such, many of the functions of the 10 CFR 71, Subpart H 18 Criteria described in the synopsis are currently performed by individuals who also have other functions within the company.
The small size of the enterprise facilitates direct reporting relationships and senior management controls which assure the complete integrity and independence of the Ouality Assurance function. As PacTec grows, early staff additions willinclude additional OA/OC personnel to assure continued adherence to the PacTec OA manual, this synopsis,10 CFR 71, Subpart H and the stringent Quality Assurance philosophy of PacTec, Inc.
As futher clarification, PacTec's activities under 10 CFR 71, Subpart H will be limited to design, licensing and manufacturing of packaging.
