.This refers to your letter dated June 13,1989, in response to our letter dated May 30, 1989.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective.and preventive actions documented
'in your letter. LThese actions will be examined during a. future inspection of your. licensed program.
You raise an interesting question-in Section 4 of your letter. The apparent differences.in source. material content of the. incoming and outgoing Lakehurst zircon samples may be'due to differences between two different lots, nonuniformity within a' lot, or errors in sampling or analysis. The Commission is always ready to consider any data.you may develop that demonstrates that you are (or.are not) in co'mpliance with our requirements.
Please keep in mind that it is a matter of Commission policy that it is your-responsibility ~to maintain yourself ~ in compliance with all requirements. The Commission willi accept any method you choose to achieve this end, if it works.
