Note 8 on Drawing No. X-107-500SP should be revised to reference that activities are to be conducted under an NRC approved Quality Assurance Program for. Pacific Nuclear Systems, Inc.

Drawing No. X-20-220SP, Sh.1 of 4, should be revised to label the sample vial as the " secondary containment vessel" ar.d the sample shield as the
" primary containment vessel". The discussion of the containment vessels in Section.1.2 " Package Description" should be revised accordingly.
4.
Drawing No. X-20-220SP, Sh. 3 of 4, Section B-B should be revised to specify the thickness of lead between the bottom of the cavity and the bottom of the cask.
OPERATING PROCEDURES 1.
The discussion of freezing in Paragraph 7.1.5 should be deleted.
2.
Any additional required special tools should be identified in paragraph 7.2.1,2.
3.
The application should indicate a minimum period of time for the gas to flow to dry the passages in paragraphs 7.2.2.14, 7.2.3.9 and 7.2.3.13.
4.
Paragraph 7.2.3.3 describes a step in the emptying procedure but refers to paragraph 7.1.1 in the assembly process. The correct reference should be identified.
5.
The application should indicate a minimum period of time for the water to flow through the sample loop in Paragraph 7.2.3.8.
8.3 APPENDIX The appendix should state that the predetermined milliroentgen values used as acceptance criteria meet the requirements of 10 CFR 671.47.
QUALITY ASSURANCE Note that NRC approval No. 0192, Rev. 1 is no longer valid. Section 9.0 Quality Assurance should be revised considering the comment in item 2 under General Information above.
