Dear Merri:
This is to confirm that the numbers provided to.you on June 21, 1989 regarding'the environmental sampling data were correct.
Although the results were higher on a few occasions, they did not exceed.the evaluation levels outlined in the Environmental Monitoring Procedure, AS-1127.
For Table 1, the gaseous effluent releases were based on 2.9%
enrichment.
Although 4% enriched material is used approximately every 18 months, the semi-annual average is 2.9%.
Table 3 has been revised indicating the total volume released per quarter and is attached for your review.
Also note that the data for 1982-1985 has been removed.
The stack did not begin operation l
until January of 1986.
The numbers previously reported as gaseous effluent from this stack were actually transposed from Table 11 Column A.
Table 5.1 will be corrected to indicate that sampling not analysis is performed continuously and will be submitted at a later date.
