11 SECY-89-133, it's the final rule to revisions to 10 12 CFR Part 2 to improve the hearing process.
Here, the.
13 Commission is being asked to approve a final rule 14 amending 10 CFR Part 2 to modify the Commission's 15 rules of practice to improve the hearing process.
16 Briefly, the amendments. one, require filing 17 of a list of contentions and information to show that 18 a genuine dispute exists on an issue of law or fact; 19 two, reduces unnecessary discovery; three, expands a 20 time during which motions tc dispose of contentions 21 summarily and without. a hearing may be filed; and 22 four, limits the intervenor's appeals and filings of 23 proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law to 24 issues which that party actually placed in the 25 controversy or sought to place in the controversy.
