Enclosed is an export license application from Mitsubishi International I
Corporation for a license to export 24,000.0 kilograms of natural uranium as UF for enrichment in Japan. The material ultimately will be used as g
fuel in the Tsuruga 2 Nuclear Power Reactor.
Before taking action on this request, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall_ perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the proposed export meets the applicable criteria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended.
